The Langley Gel Candles burn beautifully with a radiant glow unlike any candle that you have ever used before. It’s a wonderful alternative to the plain wax candle as burn time equals or exceeds traditional paraffin or soy-based candles and are soot-free. Each Langley Gel Candle is a work of art with carefully placed decorative elements in the clear gel that provide an artistic feature that is illuminated when the candle is lit. The elements appear to be “floating” in the translucent gel material. The candle gel is manufactured from specially processed mineral oils and gelled with co-polymers that result in a clear rubbery like texture that can burn longer than a paraffin wax candle. Langley Gel Candles are not only highly decorative, but also add a luscious fragrance to any setting. A high density gel is used that provides long hours of fragrance enjoyment. Langley Gel Candles are constructed to be perfectly safe, when standard candle safety precautions are observed. A clear, flameproof shield protects the decorative design elements from the flame. All glassware is rated for high temperature, and wicks are lead free and always tested for a perfect burn. For optimum performance of your candle be sure you trim the wick to between 1/8 inch and ¼ inch prior to burning your candle and maintain it at that length throughout the burning length of the candle. Remember to never leave a burning candle of any kind unattended and do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Candles burn best when the wick is trimmed to ¼” or less before burning again. Always protect furniture from heat of a burning candle and keep candles out of reach of children and pets

   I think this product would have been perfect had I bought it at a store, but something happened to the gel during shipping. I ordered two candles, and when I opened the cover, a big ball of gel had come off the candle and stuck to the cover.

   Purchased the Far Harbor one as a gift and was very impressed. Great smell and was well made. Meet expectations and then some.
